You couldn't ask for anything more than this wonderful property. Barbara was as accommodating as you could ever hope for. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!

Yearly friends trip
Best host , the house was so comfortable, so newly renovated and every convenience you need . Hot water , towels , sheets , blankets galore. We didn’t want to leave the house. The location was in the middle of everything. Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Hidepark , CIA institute . A plus rating . And there’s a fire pit . (House not in a private location) if your looking for that kind of place.

THE BEST!
Your home away from home, the cleanest, most well appointed home we have ever stayed in with hosts who truly care. A light snack, and a bottle of wine were waiting upon our arrival. The beds and bedding were so comfortable we slept like babies every night. And trains! It was so much fun to hear the whistle and listen to the trains go by… If you have kids with you (this is a family friendly home) they will be thrilled – I guess we are big kids at heart because we loved them. We are definitely looking forward to our trip again next year, and we hope for many more years to follow. It was absolutely wonderful!

Nice house, but too close to train tracks for us
The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable and was well equipped for families, with televisions in almost every room and everything you would want for a stay of a few days or longer. The house also has a wonderful deck and back yard. The host was warm and welcoming. However, we had trouble sleeping because of the noise from freight trains passing nearby day and night.

To describe this house as cozy doesnt do it justice. Its..ultra cozy. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be coming back. Great communication and conversations with the owners. You really feel like youve known them your whole life after just meeting with them. Loads of space and the yard is amazing .

Great property, great hosts - didn't love the trains
As mentioned by all other reviewers: the house was very clean and well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the property is centrally located and the host (Troy) was very friendly and helpful. However, our reaction to the frequent freight trains was stronger than others who mentioned this in their reviews. The trains must sound their horn as they approach intersections, one of which is just down the street from the house. This is not a problem during the day but it was disruptive at night.

AWESOME location
This house is very clean and is loaded with the comforts of home. There were even condiments in the fridge and some spices in the pantry. Many quilts and blankets to snuggle up in too. We came for the NY Sheep and Wool Festival and we hope to return again. The owners live right next door and were there to welcome us and for anything else we might need but they left us to ourselves . The 3 lovely, well-appointed bedrooms are upstairs and they share one full bath. there is a half bath downstairs. We really enjoyed our time there and will return as soon as possible.

Fabulous property!
My entire family were awestruck over this property. Stocked with anything and everyone you could think of. Super spotless, comfortable and homey. The hosts were phenomenal. They've put alot of love into this house. I'd recommend this property in a heartbeat. If there was anything disappointing about our stay last weekend, is that we couldn't have stayed longer.

Barb was a great host!

By far the most comfortable, well appointed property we’ve stayed in. Barbara and Troy chose to include everything we might need to make our stay wonderful from all the kitchen appliances and gadgets to first class towels, beds and TV’s everywhere. We took a trip to Saugerties to escape the city for Easter weekend. We had a very nice stay hiking at Esopus Bend and visiting the villages of Saugerties, Woodstock, uptown Kingston and Rondout.

Beautifull and clean house close to Woodstock and Bard College
Beautifully maintained, well stocked house on curvy road. Modern, upgraded house is very comfortable especially the firm mattresses. Only complaint is the noise of the trains very early in a.m., which is more of a location concern and takes nothing from the charm of this lovely home.

A great home base
This was a family getaway weekend with our adult son and partner - a good midpoint for all of us. The house was really perfect - clean, extremely well-supplied, looked exactly as pictured, spacious, up-to-date, comfortable living room and beds. We were warned about the train that goes by periodically about a block away - it was not a big deal. Might be more of an issue in the summer, with windows open, but that wouldn't stop us from returning. It would be a great place to be in the summer - lovely front porch, and very convenient to some great outdoor destinations - just minutes from Opus 40. Barb and Troy were right there, welcoming, showed us everything we needed to know. 5 stars!

Troy & Barb have a beautiful place. The house was stocked with all required household amenities that made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The place was spotless and very welcoming. They were available for any additional needs that we had. We had a great time! The only item of note that was not mentioned in any of the reviews, was there are freight trains that pass throughout the day and night.

Barb and Troy were wonderful. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. Our only complaint was the house is next to the railroad track, making it very difficult to sleep. Several trains passed throughout the night. Otherwise, we were very happy. Thanks!!

Great House
This was a great house. Exactly what it said. It was super clean and practically brand new. Great location for us going to Saugerties, New Paltz, etc. Barb and Troy were so nice. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling in the Catskill area.
