Join friends and family at Hoffman Hideaway on "The Hill" in the heart of Saugatuck. The original part of the home dates to the mid 1800s. This home has undergone a recent renovation/restoration. This home boasts over 2000 square feet. There are three bedrooms total. Two bedrooms on the main level with queen beds, and sleeping quarters upstairs with 4 twin beds, there are three full baths, hardwood floors and tile throughout. The completely renovated kitchen, part of the original home, is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Each bathroom was renovated, and the antique claw foot tub was kept and retro-fitted with a shower. You can relax inside in the closed-in year-round living porch with fireplace or outside on the back deck, enjoying the peaceful surrondings. This home is clean and tastefully decorated throughout. Hoffman Hideaway is in a location of envy, just a two minute walk to the center of town! You’re within walking distance to all restaurants, shops, parks, and the harbor. If you are looking to keep active, walk to the historic Chain Ferry, cross the Kalamazoo River and walk to Oval Beach. Oval Beach is noted as one of the top ten beaches in the United States. Amazing location and very charming!

The home was in the Perfect location, only a 4 minute walk to downtown! The house was super charming and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay! I would highly recommend staying here for a weekend or a week away!

This house is our happy place

A beautiful home. With well maintained yard and landscaping. A short walk into town makes it so nice. We enjoyed our stay with family. At the end of the day we enjoyed talking and sitting by the fireplace.We look forward to staying at this house again.

Just A Short Walk Away

The house is situated on a street that takes you right to the middle of what’s happening. Well maintained house, fully stocked with everything you need. A flatscreen tv would be so nice in one of the main floor bedrooms. Will be returning.

We had a great time. This home was clean, check in was easy, it was close to town! We had such a wonderful time connecting, Saugatuck and this house worked perfect for our multigenerational girls weekend! Something for everyone. Wonderful Home

This was the perfect spot for my family. Everything on the listing was very accurate and Liz, the property manger, was very easy to communicate with during our stay. It was an easy walk into town. Girls Weekend

We took another visit to Saugatuck, this time with the girls of the family. It was perfect; we spread out, kids played while we adults sipped wine and cooked some great meals. Loved time outside and walked town. Played outside with the littles and chatted the nights away. Love this place!

Perfect home for two families. The separate sleeping quarters upstairs provided the perfect separation for teens. Excellent location close to downtown Saugatuck and just a short drive to Holland. Great home.

Perfect!

This rental is our all time family favorite. Loved it so much that we booked it for this summer when we had been in it last summer for only one day! Perfect amount of space, separation of bedrooms is ideal. Huge amount of dishes, glasses, silverware etc. for meals as well as close proximity to walk to town for ice cream! A lovely, lovely home.

Beautiful, impeccably clean home in great location!

We have stayed at many wonderful homes in Saugatuck, but none were cleaner than this home. The whole home has been beautifully renovated with large bedrooms and updated bathrooms. There is a great backyard and patio that we really enjoyed. The house is on a bit of a hill, so keep that in mind if anyone in your group has difficulties with inclines or stairs. But we loved the location! Close enough to walk to everything in town, far enough to enjoy quiet summer nights on the patio. One minor problem when we arrived was quickly responded to by host, so very happy with response. Would love (and hope) to stay here again!

Ladies weekend

We had a lovely time in this beautiful home. It is in a prime location, just down the street from shopping, restaurants and boat rentals. While it worked great for our girls weekend, it would also be wonderful for families. The bedrooms on the main floor are spacious and comfortable. The sleeping room upstairs is so quaint. We felt like we were having a slumber party. We can’t wait to book this property for next summer.

Best location, ample space

We had a bachelor party here with eight gentleman. It was a perfect set up for our crew. The house has plenty of space aunt sleeping arrangements for everyone. The biggest strength of the property is the location. Two blocks away from Wally’s and the rest of downtown. Even being that close, the neighborhood is completely quiet and tranquil, it’s as if it is way further away than two blocks. Honestly, love this location. The backyard is great, it has a nice yard with the same privacy and a grill with a nice patio to hang out. My only gripe with the property was that it felt like it had been sitting dormant for a while when we first checked in. There were quite a few cobwebs and some bugs here and there that we had to dispense of. We contacted the host and they had the cleaning crew come by early on in our stay to do a quick dusting to get rid of everything, so we were happy for that. The host had excellent communication and I will definitely stay here again and recommend this for a large party of people that are aiming to enjoy downtown Saugatuck.
