"Wir wurden wärmstens empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist authentisch und praktisch eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Das Genbäude ist alt und im typisch japanischen Stil gehalten. Bad ist neu renoviert und wunderbar. Viele Utensilien ergänzen und erleichtern den Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist gut. Parken kann man wenige Meter neben dem Haus. "Its a "romance hotel," which I didn't realize until I got there, so I was naturally confused when I entered the front door as there is no reception desk just 4 buttons you can press to select your room type and a phone. I stood around confused for long enough that a nice employee saw me confused on a security camera and came to help. "Excellent all the way around! This is our 2nd time staying at DAIWA. We stayed at one in Aomori in 2019 and was very impressed! Love the breakfast great selection and unlike other hotels they didn’t cut back. We love the shower/bath combo set up especially! Rooms are good size. The only disappointment the washer and dryer was constantly BUSY! I managed to get one load done. It didn’t matter what time! I got done at 10pm. Other than that we highly recommend DAIWA, it’s worth it."

"The room was clean and just roomy enough for one person. The lack a of sink in the bathroom was a bit of a negative though. The spa was a big plus for me because I need to recover from the long drive from Hiroshima before climbing in the Northern Alps. The staff were very friendly! Great smiles!"
