The Space:
Raintree Farm Stay by Tiny Away offers a peaceful tiny house in Sarsfield, just 12 minutes from Bairnsdale and 20 minutes from Paynesville, Victoria. What's more, our holiday home is close to Eagle Point, Mitchell River Tavern, and Lakes Entrance Beach, only 31 minutes away.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home featuring a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible single bed couch on the ground floor; sleeps up to 3 guests. Enjoy easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our farm stay is on a working property near the Great Alpine Road, so you may hear occasional animal and traffic noise as part of the authentic rural experience.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence. What's more, this countryside getaway is the closest Bairnsdale Accommodation!
📌 A GENTLE REMINDER: All guests are kindly requested to call after receiving their booking confirmation and again on the day of check-in. Providing at least 24 hours' notice is greatly appreciated, as it ensure a smooth check-in experience.

By public transport: We recommend guest travel by private vehicle, but if you're on a budget we can show you how to travel from each of those locations to Sarsfield, VIC using public transport:

- You can take a train from Bairnsdale to Sale
- Please check the V/Line website for current schedules.
- From Sale, you’ll need to take a bus to Sarsfield. Check local bus services like the Latrobe Valley Bus Lines for routes and times.
> Paynesville to Sarsfield
- You can start with a bus from Paynesville to Bairnsdale. This service is often operated by the local bus service, so check the timetable.
- From Bairnsdale, follow the train and bus directions mentioned above.
> Melbourne to Sarsfield
- You can take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Bairnsdale.
- Once in Bairnsdale, transfer to a local bus heading to Sarsfield.

Other Things to Note:
- No Pets Allowed on the property
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra
- No Unregistered guests or visitors allowed
- No Smoking Allowed inside the tiny home or on the property
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property. If you'd like to interact with our animals please let us know.
Important note:
- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
