"This is the very best Inn of this type I have ever stayed in. The tub was shiny!! So clean and beautiful. I've never stayed at another Motel style place that had such a nice bathroom, it even had a mirror that could be pulled out to view the back of your head or to flip the side to see in magnification. "The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage."

The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment .
