"Delightful stay in a truly unique setting. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was amazing, hostess and host were helpful, and the animals are the stars of the show. Only slight negative was it’s about 15 minutes into Salida, so it is not in the middle or town. "

"I would give Monarch Mt Cabin 10 stars if I could. The neighborhood is beautiful with mountain views every way you look. There is a delightful stream running behind the cabin and a fire pit and picnic table nearby to enjoy it. The cabin was spacious and clean. The host provided generous amenities, cookware, utensils, and much more. There are endless activities in the area. It's a short drive to downtown Salida where there is shopping and restaurants and the river runs through the downtown...

"My husband and I booked this cabin to stay in while visiting local family. The cabin is well made with a nice porch/ deck. We enjoyed hearing the babbling water nearby and the nice Mountain View. The kitchen was stocked fairly well but I missed not having serving dishes for food and no salad tongs or nice baking sheets or containers for leftovers.
