Beautiful remodeled mountain, lakefront home in Sapphire, NC. Includes amenities to Sapphire Valley Resort and location near 100s of miles of hiking trails. Cahsiers/Sapphire are is home to many beautiful waterfalls and all the great destinations of western North Carolina mountains.

*Recently upgraded high-speed internet! We got rid of the slow satellite link system and upgraded to recently offered fiber-optic based system that is true high-speed and a HUGE improvement!

Quiet, serene location... no motorized boat traffic on the lake and although minutes to Hwy 64, absolutely no road traffic noise can be heard. Just the birds, frogs and crickets :)

Mountain lake view from your dining table and all bedrooms, go kayaking, canoeing and fishing from your dock. Many renowned, mountain golf courses nearby and guest access to Sapphire Valley Master Association activities is included! Of course Sapphire/Cashiers area is waterfall paradise, with multiple beautiful waterfalls available for viewing after short to medium hike.

We had a small family get together and had a great time. The home was in a beautiful location on a quiet lake and was perfect for our group. It was clean and well kept, and was close by to lots of outdoor activities as well as restaurants and pubs. We enjoyed the fire pit and kayaks as well. Would definitely stay again

We loved Drew’s serene mountain house on the lake. My son caught brim and trout everyday on the creek. We played pickle ball and went kayaking at the resort, and enjoyed the fine dining and shopping in Cashiers. A wonderful house that is clean and cozy.

We were fortunate to be able to visit this beautiful property for two weeks. The cabin easily accommodated five adults and two small children. It was clean and updated and had an amazing view of the lake below. All of us caught fish, including the four and six year olds! We hope to visit again in the future!

Stayed a week with another couple. Kayaking, waterboarding (brought our own) and eating at several of the fine area restaurants. The evenings and days were cool and comfortable and the house was as advertised. Check in was easy, but it might be a good idea to print directions before you get there. Cell service is pretty sketchy near the cottage.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! This location was gorgeous, and well maintained. Our family of 5 had more space than we knew what to do with. The kids loved going down to the lake, and the view was outstanding. Would come back again if we’re in the area!!

This is our second time booking an extended stay at this house, and it is still one of our favorites! We spent 2 weeks at the house and it was plenty of space for our family of four and another family that spent part of the trip with us. The house is clean, well kept, and has everything we need. The dock is fantastic for fishing and swimming, and we love the access to the kayaks and canoe. The lake is quiet and great for kids to explore since there aren't motorized boats. You can't go wrong with this rental!

Although access is easy, the property is secluded with a great lake view and access. The house is well maintained, clean and comfortable. Fall colors were gorgeous. Kayaking the lake was a bonus. Also close to a great hike on the Whiteside Mountain trail. Great restaurants in the area also. I would come back again.

We had great time with our friends at this house. The stairs to dock will give you great workout (we named the house Stair master) but we all got used to it after 2 days. We took advantage of the canoes, fished of the dock and had fires in the fire pit. This house has all you need.

We had a great vacation and enjoyed the house. Bedrooms are nice size, main room is very functional and nicely set-up, and kitchen was well supplied! The dock was well - maintained and kayaks were easy to get off the rack and put back on. We enjoyed our time on the lake and at the house. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. Our family wanted a change of scenery so we booked the house for a weekend of colder weather. The home was nearly impeccable. Clean, updated, and spacious. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. We would absolutely come back! Side note: the most comfortable bedding + pillows EVER.
