"This is a very basic hotel. But it is safe, clean, and comfortable. I had an inside, ensuite double room, which i think is probably much quieter than the rooms with windows, as they face the busy street and traffic. Breakfast is basic toast, cereal, and coffee/tea, served on the rooftop. Only drawback is there is no elevator. So, this is not the place for those with mobility issues. The staff was excellent -- friendly, helpful, and kind. Hotel is close to Pahurat Market, Sampeng Lane, China...

"Check in was difficult as the gentleman barely spoke English and instead of checking us in advised us incorrectly to go out of the grounds and come back out. Room wasn’t as descripted (we didn’t get a private balcony). Room wasn’t cleaned whilst we stayed, room was a bit filthy. It was unbelievably hot with only one fan. The big light in the room did not switch off. "

"Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Huge thermite problem. My luggage was filled with thermites when I came home. My room was full of thermites twice. It’s a cheap hostel in Thailand, AC works, fan is good. Can’t expect much more. "

"The staff was super attentive, kind, and accommodating. Whatever we needed they saw to! My wife and I felt well taken care of during our whole stay. When we told them we were leaving early they packed a togo breakfast for us, which was a treat at the airport when we needed it. The room was a little cramped with all the big furniture. However it was queit, clean, and really comfortable which is everything we needed in this area of Bangkok. Would repeat and would recommend."

"We love our stay from nov 23 to 28 2023, they clean our room everyday, they provided daily water, coffee and tea. Bed are so comfy.. location are so near to 711, streetfoods and local restaurant espacially to pratunam clothes vendors!!! We will definitely be back in Amber Inn"

"This hostel is also a cafe by day. Very instagrammable cafe for those who are not staying overnight. I stayed here for a week. Leang and his sister runs the place. Once you step in, you can feel how much heart they put into the place. From the warm good mornings, to specially prepped breakfast. We had different local meals prepared for us in tingkat containers every morning! There was also a washer/dryer on site for use. The location is a quiet alley just off of the main bustling street....

"The room's wooden floor was clean. We utilised the washing machine in the room and it worked well. Location was close to Phrom Phong BTS, and the shopping mall, Emporium. Basic amenities provided in the room were good. "
