"We were warmly welcomed by Miguel, the owner/manager of the place. We experienced a slight inconvenience with our room at arrival, but Miguel quickly offered us a solution, which was suitable and much appreciated. The view from the terrace was incredible! This is related to the town and not to the lodging, but for dining options, at the time of the year that we went (early June) there were not much choices. But overall, a good experience! :)"

The only negative for us was that we found the bed too firm, but we know that’s a personal preference. "This unit is not in Sao Roque. It is 20 minutes away. It was very difficult to find the unit. It is a nice house in a beautiful little remote village. Has an amazing view and is very close to the local natural pool. The restaurant served great food but does close early. "
