"This was an all inclusive hotel that served up great food and had very good services. We could easily visit again and have a lovely holiday. This was early May which meant that the hotel was not overly crowded so I cannot say what it would be like in high summer."

So much respect show amongst staff. And, yes the food was absolutely great. Every meal had so much to choose from. Pestana Royal exceeded our expectations! "Faburlous sea views from close up. If you sleep well with the sound of waves -- can't beat it. Very convenient for short walks to restaurants and a grocery right next door. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and professional. It's hard to think of something we didn't like, but perhaps it would be people slamming doors in the early morning. (Perhaps soft-close mechanisms?)"
