"We had a fabulous time at casa do Monte! The villa is perfect for large families, well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Marcus was very accommodating and even arranged for us to have a traditional Portuguese BBQ. I highly recommend this villa."

"Our house was literally at the foot of a vineyard...a spectacular setting and a beautiful drive from Porto. The house was beautiful, clean, nicely decorated and had a nice patio to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. The wine tasting room was just a staircase away. "We had an excellent time in Regua staying at the "Hidden Gem". The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace was an awesome spot to look over the city and the river with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Great location, great restaurant 2 doors up the street. Jose was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

"The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades."

"The host was a terrific communicator, very responsive. The house was impressive, roomy with fully stocked kitchen. Security gated property with nice views over-looking town of Paso da Regua and Douro River. Close to a variety of restaurants, and the tour boat dock on the Douro River. Just across river a few kilometers away are a number of wineries to enjoy. Suggest make reservation at vineyards for wine-tastings, tours etc."

"The tour around the town is really interesting, if you get the opportunity to do the private tour I’d highly recommend it, we even went into backyards to check on the almonds drying, and picked figs off the tree to eat. So relaxing and quiet. Dinner and breakfast in the Restaurant was delicious and the service brilliant, The apartment has subdued lighting which fits with the room but might not be enough for everyone, we would stay here again if in the area."
