"Reasonable price and convenient to the airport. Check in was a bit awkward being fully automated and I couldn't get the machine to speak anything other than Spanish eventhough other languages were possible. There were others who struggled with it as well. I also didn't get the info for how to do it beforehand. Luckily someone was available to call and assist."

"This is an ok hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but not all. The room was clean and comfortable, but the air-conditioning didn’t seem to work and when you opened the window the road noise was loud. It’s a convenient stop near the motorway and there are lots of places to eat and drink at the nearby shopping centres. You can catch buses into the centre of Bilbao just a short walk away."

"Large rooms with vert big comfy bed and great pillows. Large bathroom with over bath shower. Great quality towels. Corridors very quiet despite high occupancy levels. Staff very attentive, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Mixture of hot and cold choices, good coffee and selection of juices and pastries. Location is literally 25 metres from San Mames stadium and just 5 mins walk from Bilbao's Intermodal transport hub"

"Fourth time we have stayed there over the years, it is convenient for the bridge across to Bilbao port and offers a good range of local ameities nearby providing you can find somewhere convenient to park. We could not get the air con / fan working that evening. They have upgraded the rooms compared to the previous visits and the picture accurately shows the view we had. The improvement work continues and IT IS NO ANSWER TO SAY IN SPAIN BUILDERS ARE ALLOWED TO START AS EARLY AS 8:00 WHEN WORKING IN A BUILDING. IT IS A HOTEL - GUESTS MIGHT LIKE TO SLEEP IN, THAT'S OFTEN WHAT THEY PAY FOR - IF THE HOTEL CANNOT CONTROL THE BUILDER'S START TIME (UNTIL SAY AT LEAST 9 WITH WARNING) PERHAPS THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE / PERHAPS CHANGE PROFESSIONS, AS THEY CLEARLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF RUNNING AS A HOTEL OR CLOSE PROPERLY FOR RENNOVATIONS. My suggestion that such an early start (on a Saturday morning) was not really what you'd expect from a professional hotelier was just met (from morning staff) with a shrug of shoulders. it's Spanish rules! Very welcoming Breakfast good, albeit with just one member of staff there, to check people in and find initial coffee plus attend to eberything else there are understandably longer waits then should be the case for some of the food replenishments to come out. "The hotel is nice but very simple. The staff isn’t welcoming and cheery just very business with minimal conversation. We felt as if we were a bother. The lobby is very basic with no real sitting area and the entrance to the hotel is on the backside not the street level which is inconvenient when arriving and unloading. It’s not clearly noted and is a bit confusing. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Pillows were very hard unfortunately. There is a small, complimentary coffee station in the lobby that is a nice perk. "
