"We stayed three nights (family of four) in Casper’s boat. The location is perfect, short walk to/from Centraal Station and easy to get to everything within the city. Casper’s communication was top-notch and the accommodations on the boat were exactly as advertised. Highly recommended. "

Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. "Where to start??? Gerben (and Rodinde) was the ultimate host, the houseboat was incredible, and the location was exceptional. We didn't know what to expect since the property was brand new to VRBO, so you can imagine our surprise and delight that EVERY detail had been thought through. We particularly loved the novelty of living on the water. Despite being located near a major street, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful, which was a pleasant surprise. The boat has a prime location with the feel of full immersion into daily Dutch life, super quiet nights with close proximity to all of the activity in the city center. "This hotel was incredibly charming and wonderfully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and accommodations perfect in the biggy bunk room! The bunk bed would be incredibly comfortable for grown adults! The AC didn’t work very well as it is an older building and we couldn’t leave windows open because Amsterdam doesn’t sleep! I loved hearing laughter though of people enjoying themselves! The hotel is super close to a tram stop and we walked or trammed the entire time we were there! Amsterdam was nothing but awesome for our family. You can train all over the Netherlands within 40 minutes and with the tram to Amsterdam centraal 10 minutes away we got to see a lot! Loved the Hoxton Lloyd!!!"
