"It was a good stay for the short time I was there in between connecting flights. Although, there was someone up in our room every hour or so which was really noisy considering I didn’t even have a curtain to cover my bunk. "

"The hostel was great, with nice areas to hang out in and a fun bar downstairs. Free towels were a nice plus. I still probably wouldn't stay again, simply because I found the room to be so hot I couldn't sleep. There were 2 ceiling fans but only one was working and it wasn't enough to make a difference to how hot the room was. Each bed also has a small fan but mine was broken, which didn't help! "

"Booked a private room for my girlfriend and I. In Panama City, most people want and expect air conditioning. But our room only had a fan. The manager explained that the website stated that there is only a fan in the room. The manager also stated that for the price, we should not expect AC. This may be true but guests should not have to assume. She would not let me checkout with and receive a refund. Fortunately(?), I was able to rent a whole dormitory room at a price upgrade. "The staff at panama central are all very helpful and accommodating...the pancake breakfast was a real treat! They were also kind enough to look after my luggage when I went to San blas for 2 days, at no extra charge. Nice outdoor patio to sit on, large bunk beds and fantastic kitchen facilities ...recommended if you need a cheap hostel stay in panama"
