"We had a lovely holiday (family with 5 kids, age 11 to 23), peaceful and quiet and with the option to go out for a good meal nearby. Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. Lucca and other more touristic places are a bit further, still good to do by car. The house and garden are spacious with all you need for a relaxing holiday. Nice addition is the separate part of the house which contains a bedroom, a bathroom...

"Nice little cottage with a comfortable bed. The host was very helpful. The air conditioning helped with the chilly evenings and mornings.It is easy to reach if you come by train but it is up a steep hill. All the villages of Cinque Terre are easily accessed and I thought it was the best of the 5 villages to stay in- at the start of via dell’amore. "

"The hosts Hilda and Ricardo are very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay. The surroudings are very quiet. In the evening just the sounds of crickets and owls (and the occasional boar sniffing around in the forest). Definitely recommended!"

"All of us thought this property was the worst we stayed at! Not enough towels or kitchen supplies no sheets for the pull out couch. They advertised air conditioning but only gave use a small fan also advertised a second bathroom that was locked the property was not clean and the dishes where dirty. they had an infestation of ants. Look for a different place."

"We had a wonderful week. The accommodation is spacious with good facilities. We were blessed with some very good weather so were able to enjoy the local area which is very beautiful (the donkeys are a treat!). "Very nice hotel and super friendly staff. It’s relatively small, one on-site restaurant with excellent food (and many choices in town), nice pool and spa, very relaxing. We took the train to explore cinque terre (7 mins to Monterosso), but were glad to have a nice quiet hotel to return to at the end of the day. Highly recommended."
