"We loved this home. It was clean, had all the amenities and located close to the centre of town. The pool and courtyard was exceptional. We spent all our spare time there. We did find the beds a little uncomfortable, but not bad enough to reduce our 5 star rating. We would definitely stay here again."

The location is great - it´s on a quiet local street and is just a walk away from the historic castle and any of the wonderful restaurants and small supermarkets in the town. "Perfect. Large unit with great outdoor space. Our rental car broke down shortly before we were to check in, we were stranded about 9 km from the Vrbo. The host was gracious enough to come and retrieve us and get us settled into the unit. We reserved the home for 2 nights, we wished we had reserved it for a longer stay. If you are in the area, this place is great."

"What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice! The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening. "We stayed with 2 adults and 3 kids. Absolutely loved, loved, loved the village. There's not much to do, but feels therefore like a real immersive experience in a small village. The local library has a play area for kids with lots of toys and games, free to use. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, has everything we needed. Very much appreciated the washing machine to catch up on laundry."

"We loved the laid back, slow pace of Monsaraz. The room was well equipt with everything we needed and so unique. Breakfast service was delicious and wandering around the castle, drinking a coffee overlooking the surrounding area was a special treat."
