"Beautiful place, excellent staff, a truly memorable stay. Only downside was that one restaurant was closed and the other booked up very early. Food is available in the bar but it is very noisy there. Room service was available, so not a big issue."

An amazing hotel that was resurrected and refurbished with lots of original tile work, very comfortable rooms, great pool and honor bar, classic medieval tight parking and streets. Well situated to jump of and explore this extraordinary town full of kind and interesting people and sights. Great breakfast made by our sweet Filipina hostess. Super helpful front man (sorry to have forgotten his name) gave us a lovely tour and orientation. Wish we had stayed at least 3 nights in Estramoz."

"We loved our stay at Octant hotel. It was a relaxing time away from the busyness of a city. We stayed at a villa and loved the private pool. We also loved all the walking trails and got to see a lot of stars at night on the trails. The hotel staff was wonderful and the property was amazing. "We booked our stay for a couple of nights, and upon arrival it took us a while to locate the entrance as it wasn't very clear. As we signed in at the reception, we were told that the hotel was under a 'soft opening', that meant some of the services weren't working a 100% and that me might find a couple issues, which we hadn't been previously informed of when we made the reservation. It was a nice place altogether though, with a nicely decorated apartment (albeit with a relatively outdated and not very clean bathroom), a good pool, but the breakfast could be better. Fantastic view from the pool, but there is a lot of construction still underway around the development, the noise was quite disruptive, not great to say the least. It would be interesting to come back after all of these details are sorted, construction finished, etc, to see if this hotel is really worth it."
