Hoje a Quinta da Ortiga pertence à empresa Pestana Pousadas que recuperou o edifício principal e as pequenas casas típicas Alentejanas, ao seu redor, onde os hóspedes são alojados. Tem também uma pequena capela, um bom restaurante, fontes e belos jardins. É um lugar perfeito para passar uns dias em plena harmonia com a natureza que circunda toda a quinta.

Today Quinta da Ortiga belongs to the Pestana Pousadas company that has recovered the main building and the small typical Alentejo houses around it, where the guests are housed. It also has a small chapel, a good restaurant, fountains and beautiful gardens. It is a perfect place to spend a few days in full harmony with nature that surrounds the whole farm.

"The property and staff is OUTSTANDING! Gorgeous! Fabulous service and surroundings!!! ONLY ISSUE is you cannot leave the property to go to dinner or to the beach without paying 110 euros to get there and back. They should have a shuttle to Comporta but do not. No offense to the team it is a gorgeous hotel, pool, restaurant, etc!"

"Lovely hotel in a small village. Ideal for a relaxed and chilled stay. . Staff are helpful and friendly. I asked for tea for breakfast on the first day as there was only coffee. After that my tea was waiting for me every morning. The hotel has lovely grounds with a pool. This was our second stay and will not be our last. "
