"For the four dads and four 11-year-old sons, this house made for a perfect fishing trip. Fernando was our access to fun - fishing, ATV's, and even made a great recommendation for dinner out and chefs in. Don't tell their mom's but the two ladies cooking had the boys lined up for thirds and fourths!It is a quiet area, though, so if you need or want outsiders to make your vacation more memorable, just be aware that you are pretty far away from any city action. I would not be surprised if some or all of those in our crew stay at the home again."

"It was an incredible surprise. The room was big and comfortable. It was a suite with a full kitchen. They also had a mini market with all tour basic needs. Breakfast was amazing and it was included."

"The hotel is perfect to be at the airport for your next morning flight, would not want to be there for a vacation cause of location but I was surprised of how nice and convenient the hotel is and the always available airport shuttle (3 minutes to the terminal) is very convenient "

"Casa Tortuga was the perfect stay for my husband and I. The location and views were ideal. Very tranquil area. The water is right outside your door. The water is so calm you can easily kayak all around. If you’re looking for quiet and slightly removed from the town this is perfect. The owners were wonderful and gave us great recommendations for things to do. Can’t wait to return. "

"Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is in the heart of Los Barriles and on the beach. They have a large pool. I would definitely get a pool/ocean view room. It is worth the extra $$$. The bed was a little soft for my liking. They have a cafe/coffee shop which has food and is open earlier in the day. They have a full bar/restaurant in the evenings as well as a little palapa bar right above the beach with a great view. We saw whales breaching and playing and rays jumping, all right out in front of the hotel. The staff were all super friendly, especially Leo. A couple of things to note. Our room did not have a microwave or coffee maker. Also the water pressure is a little light and the sink drained slow. But these are small things compared to all the great things about Playa Del Sol. We will most definitely stay here again. It is 2 blocks from the main streets and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, taco stands and grocery options within a few blocks. "
