" The location was great for walking around Solvang. Summer, the "check-in" desk staff was friendly & personable. The cottage was nicely renovated. Our only complaint deals with the dirty floor. After the first night, we realized that the floor had not been cleaned prior to our visit. This was very disappointing as our slippers were filthy. We would stay there again but we would preview the room / cottage for the cleanliness of the floor. "

"It's a motel, so my expectations weren't high, but the room, bed, and bathroom were all clean and well cared for. The shower was one of the better ones I've used in a while: a welcome surprise after a long day. It had good blackout shades too. And it was right next to a 7/11, which was handy. A minor negative is that the freezer in the fridge wasn't working, but that probably won't bother most people."

"Everything was great except for the fact that my bedroom wasn't clean at all. There were 3 dark long hairs in the shower, and the area under the bed and the bedside tables was dirty and hadn't been vacuumed in days. That was quite upsetting. "

"The room and bed were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The included made to order breakfast was good though the server was a bit slow on getting me my coffee. The most disappointing aspect was I booked this hotel so I could have a nice jacuzzi and while the jacuzzi worked, the jets were angled improperly and were not effective. Anderson's Pea Soup Inn in Buellton has an excellent jacuzzi which put this one to shame. "
