"Beautiful location. Lovely staff. Breakfast adequate. Beautiful bars. Bar beer expensive €6. You expect extra, paying for the view, but not so much. Waiter said all Spain, but we live up the coast!!!"

"We loved our stay. The villa was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need and more! The owner and agent were very helpful and responsive to any questions or queries.The area has lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance and with the supermarkets and market very close we didnt need a car. We walked to the beach in about 15 minutes (stopping for ice cream on the way).We will definitely be back!"

"this was our second stay at the Hotel Gran Playa within a year, we checked in late due to flight delays from Madrid to Alicante in the historic (el Apagon) black out in Spain the receptionist explained about the black out and no electricity no lights in our room tired and hungry from the ordeal and no bars or restaurants to go to, a lovely lady getting ready to go home after her shift I was asking where we can get something to eat offered us pizza from the kitchen i think her name is Mercy, we owe her deep gratitude for caring "

"We had a great stay in this lovely apartment in santa pola, apartment was fantastic had everything we needed and more. Very handy washing machine and tumble dryer, we managed to wash and dry all our clothes before going home :) pools were lovely although slides were only on once and we didnt use them. But we would have had they been on more. Apartment was a good mile from town centre , that was only issue. Overall everything was fantastic. "

"The house was clean but the pool was dirty and some of the outside furniture were in really bad condition. No nice wine glasses and the towels did smell so bad, that we had to wash them before we could use them. There was no internet for 8 days. We did of course complain about it in the beginning but to my opinion, the caretaker of the property was not doing his job. He didn't speak english and we don't speak spanish so the communication was not easy, and thats not a positive thing"
