This was an excellent family hotel, it had a terasse and restaurant overlooking the beach, two pool areas (we used the one for families as it had a pool for small children as well), and great big rooms with good showers. All went really well, rooms were kept clean and everything went well. Pools were warm and comfortable. In March, we didn't need the AC on yet at night, as we just used the ceiling fan and windows open, but I imagine that from May to August it's also needed.

My wife & I just stayed 9 nights for the first time in Puerto Escondido and Hotel Santa Fe. We arrived at Hotel Santa Fe and was greeted by the very courteous & helpful staff. The front desk manager Salvatore oversaw our room check in, showed us the property & amenities, and helpful for us in any activities we were interested in. Salvatore was excellent! The property is classic rustic style and the rooms are well appointed (got what you need). My wife and would like to point out how comfortable our King mattress bed was in our suite. We slept very well the entire stay. We loved the cleanliness of our room and the property as well. We ate in the restaurant every day and it is very good plus amazing views of the beach across the street. Enjoy watching sunsets every night from the comfortable outdoor seating. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Santa Fe and we are looking forward to returning sooner than later. Thank you, John & Rosa K

Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff are great. Amenities include an unimpeded view of Playa Principal and about a 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants. Conversely, cost of living concerns e.g. no more chips & salsa when consuming beverages at said 2nd floor patio, reduced quality of what used to be pretty good breakfast entries etc., must be acknowledged.

We had a great stay at Hotel Santa Fe over this past Christmas and NYE! The room was large and the bed comfy. We are at the restaurant daily for breakfast and many nights for dinner. The food was great and the view wonderful. The restaurant prices were very similar to most places in town. The staff was great but sometimes it would get so busy the service was slow. We loved the pool area. Would definitely come back.

I love this hotel and have stayed before. The bed and pillows are the best I’ve experienced in México. The restaurant is good and the pool is delightful. Beautiful sunsets. However, I was charged almost double the amount of last year. Pricing seems unfairly all over the place. Prices in the restaurant have gone up a lot,too. When I asked twice to speak with someone, the biss wasn’t there and no one else could do anything. Pricing both years was from Expedía. I will stay again if i can get a better price.
