"We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Casa das Hortensias. The kitchen was fully equipped and the washing machine and outdoor space to hang out laundry provided everything we needed. We appreciated that supplies like olive oil, vinegar, a few spices, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper and paper towels were provided. Spectacular hiking trails started steps from the house, and the views to the beach and ocean were beautiful. The living area and bedrooms were comfortable. Jose, our host, was responsive to any questions we had and the information binder was helpful. Thank you again for a lovely stay. "

"We loved our stay at the Mar Grande apartment! Every aspect of our stay was everything you could hope for- from ease of booking and communication with the host team, the attention to detail regarding amenities & comfort level, to the most amazing view. What a sight! A beautiful view of the ocean & the beach cove out front, visible from every room! Another aspect we were thrilled with was secure underground parking with a designated spot. Our hosts were very gracious, & communication was clear & thorough. The secure apartment was spotless, well appointed & laid out, with nice attention to detail. The location of the apartment is great- overlooking the swimming pools & beach. Within walking distance are many restaurants, (shout out to Monte Verde restaurant, Oh Canadiano Pizzeria, & O Chocolatinho!) The grocery store, surfing mecca Santa Barbara beach, & the centre of town are also within walking distance. We have many wonderful memories here- we look forward to returning! "

"Rental was as described. The parking in front of the house is not reserved. You can park anywhere on the street. There could be better description of pickup times for garbage. Everything else worked out perfectly in the location on the island is excellent"
