Hummingbird House, a centrally-located 3BD charmer

CENTRAL - Hummingbird House On Puye is a recent renovation of a historic 1950 Stamm house, with all the charms of traditional Santa Fe plus the amenities and comforts of a new house. Completed mid-summer of 2018, you will find a fabulous 3 BR and 2 BA home with individual AC in each room, spacious living, and a large outdoor patio with fire pit. Located in the heart of Santa Fe's "mid-town", Hummingbird House is walking distance to restaurants, and is only a 5-7 minute drive to The Plaza.

This charming renovation offers visitors a taste of mid-century Santa Fe. With brand new heating and air system, a new master bedroom suite with ensuite, all new kitchen with stainless appliances and granite, two new bathrooms (one full bath, one 3/4 bath with walk-in shower) and new outdoor living space with two seating areas, fire pit and landscaping, you can have it all. With the exception of some vintage, artisanal pieces, furnishings are new as are all linens.

While the home is compact at just over 1,000 square feet, it is cozy and comfortable and outside spaces make it live larger. It is ideal for 4 adults and two children, but can accommodate up to 6 adults.

This child and pet-friendly property has a completely walled/enclosed backyard. Up to two pets are allowed, but guests must first message the owner for pre-approval.

Walk to restaurants like the historic Pantry restaurant, Jambo Café, Baskin Robbins, El Portrillo Mexican, Matisse Bakery, Wecks family restaurant and more. The new Santa Fe bike trail passes through the neighborhood three blocks away allowing you easy access to The Railyard, Downtown and the rest of the city. Within 2 minutes drive are vintage furniture stores, art galleries, the Broken Spoke bike shop, retail stores and a grocery store. Driving times to other area amenities:

Wonderful house with big outdoor area
This home worked out perfectly for us. The owner was very responsive. It was well-equipped, clean, lovely decor. The huge back patio was great for family gathering. It was safe for our little ones. And the location was great for lots of sites.

Wonderful!
Great location and well-appointed house. Enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the mornings. Had a great vacation with family while I was in town for a conference. We didn’t need to do anything except bring ourselves and groceries! Host was very responsive and immediately addressed a very minor issue. Highly recommend!

Perfect for the 4 of us. Walkable to coffee/breakfast and other restaurants. Just off a main road, so access was convenient but a couple blocks back so it was also quiet. I kept being impressed about the amenities, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We’ve been coming to Santa Fe for several years and this was our first time not staying close to the plaza. It was a perfect house for us and the yard was great for our pups. The back porch was a great spot to hang out on the comfy sofa. We found so many new places that we never would have found had we not stayed here. The host is super responsive as well. The street looked a little off when we first arrived but honestly this is a great little house and we felt perfectly safe and at home!

Cozy home base for a Santa Fe stay
This is a beautiful home, we had an excellent stay. The back porch, especially, was a great place to relax in the evenings. Victor was very responsive and helpful, and the house had everything we needed. Super-easy access to downtown, Meow Wolf, and several nearby day trips. Plenty of room for our family of six - very quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 3 nights while we were in Santa Fe for a wedding. The house is just as the pictures show, very charming, clean, and has everything you may need during your visit. The back yard is very beautiful; we probably spent as much time out there as we did inside. The location was great; we were not far from any of the places we wanted to visit while in Santa Fe. We recommend staying here, and would definitely rent this house again if we visit Santa Fe.

Girls Trip - First time to Santa Fe
It was the perfect place for three women to stay in Santa Fe. We each had our own bedroom, plenty of room to sit in the living room. We spent a lot of time on the back patio. Short distance to attractions like Canyon Road, The Plaza, etc. Victor, the host, was a great communicator. He had a binder for all things related to the house, restaurants nearby, etc.

Lovely Stay at the Hummingbird House!
The Hummingbird was an adorable stop on our New Mexico road trip! It had a fully fenced in backyard with an outdoor fire pit that our children loved. The bedrooms were very comfortable and cozy. It was in a good location and centrally located. We were close to Meow Wolf, some great restaurants, and only a short drive from the plaza. The house was well decorated, comfortable and the detailed house book had good recommendations of activities and restaurants in the area. Upon check-in we noticed an issue with a heating units and contacted Victor. He was very responsive, kind, and worked diligently to have the issue fixed as quickly as possible. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Thanks again!

Great Place!
This is a great place to stay in Santa Fe. The pictures don't do it justice, especially the great backyard if you are bringing your fur-family. The host is very responsive and thoughtful. The recommendations for local attractions was spot on and everything we needed during the stay was provided. Highly recommend anyone visiting the area to check out this cute space :)

Beautifully decorated adobe home
Hummingbird was a lovely place to stay for my family of four plus a dog. It had a fully fenced in backyard with an outdoor fire pit. The bedrooms were all really comfortable and we loved the decorations, especially the Christmas tree. The place is full of thoughtful touches, like a detailed and easy to read "house book" with good recommendations. We tried out a breakfast place called The Pantry, which was recommended in the book and we all loved it. The rest of the neighborhood isn't much to look at, but it's only a short drive to the center of town and well worth the savings all things considered.

Great place to stay
We had 5 adults and two small dogs. House was perfect for everyone including the pups with a secure fenced back yard. The gas fire pit was a nice gathering place to enjoy the afternoon or cap off the evening. Victor was helpful with local recommendations. We highly recommend this house and we will stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe.
