Casita D - single level 2 bd, 2 bth

This is one of our mid-sized two-bedroom, two-bath casitas, approx. 730
square feet. With two bedrooms (one queen-size bed and one full-size
bed) and two baths, it'll make a family vacation come true! The living
area is separated from the kitchen by a countertop bar, perfect for
gatherings. It has all the authentic touches -- a kiva fireplace,
saltillo tile, and hardwood floors. But it has also been skillfully
updated to provide you with all the modern conveniences, including cable
TV, laundry facilities, a full kitchen, air conditioning, and
complimentary high-speed internet access. This casita boasts a large
enclosed patio that is ideal for an outdoor evening on a mild summer
night.

We loved our stay here. It was close to the Plaza and Railroad Yard shops. The Casita was very cozy with the just the right amount of room for the 4 of us. I highly recommend this place to stay

Perfect location for easy walking to the sites in downtown and to restaurants. Casita was cute, clean, comfortable with a well appointed kitchen. We appreciate that it is dog friendly! Communication with host was great. We will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casita D. The neighborhood was quiet & the casita was excellent...comfortable, cheerful & airy and the kitchen was well stocked. We usually have opted for a hotel room in the past, but from now on, The Casas de Guadalupe will be our choice!!!

Quaint...Southwestern....and a wonderful place to stay while in Santa Fe!! I loved the accommodations; the furnishings...nothing was overlooked ....within walking distance of everything and a safe community!! It felt like home...I even watered the plants!! The house is adorable and comfortable. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go as the house is close to many attractions. The beds were comfortable; the house was clean and neat. Mary Ann gave us excellent directions to navigate to and enter the property. She was friendly and quite easy to reach. Will definitely stay there again, if I ever get to go back to Santa Fe.

We felt right at home in this lovely casita. The welcoming kiva kept us warm as the evenings were especially chilly. Conveniently located within walking distance of Historic Santa Fe, the Cultural Arts District and the Railyard Scene, we explored on foot and enjoyed outstanding cuisine. Our home away from home was cozy, clean, and bright and the enclosed patio was a boon for our canine companion!

As described, this is a comfortable and cozy casita within walking distance to nearly every thing you'd want to visit in Santa Fe--the main Santa Fe Plaza, The Railyard arts district, museums, galleries, top resturants, and a fun wine tasting room for Gruet, a good New Mexico "champagne". The fireplace was wonderful since it snowed while we were there. We found Mary Anne to be very efficient and easy to work with during the reservation and check-in/check-out processes. I hope to return in the spring/summer season.

We stayed in Unit D at the Casitas de Guadalupe in Santa Fe. And yes the location is convenient to the Plaza, and it was private and quiet, but the interior finishes are tired and not very comfortable. The 2 bathrooms are tiny, the décor, art and furniture are lacking in quality, the sofa is uncomfortable and the seats slant backwards, the hardwood floors are dull and unfinished, the appliances are pretty old, and the queen bed mattress in the back bedroom was not very comfortable. The unit was clean and Mary Ann is quite pleasant to communicate with but we will not return to this unit.
