"The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades."

"We could not have been happier with the experience! We were traveling with a large family (9 of us total, all adults), and there was plenty of space. The views were beautiful, and the house was clean and well kept. They had a chef make us dinner one night, which was a very special experience. I will note that the house is up a steep, narrow road and so large vans could be a challenge. Overall, it was one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had."

"A wonderful stay in stunning surroundings. The views on the road from the villa to Peso da Régua are simply breathtaking. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with every appliance you can think of. The beds are comfortable and all rooms have air conditioning. The pool, although not the largest is ideal and there is a lovely shaded area and bbq. Having said all that, what made it the perfect holiday for us was the warm welcome, care and attention...
