"We weren’t told how bad the road to enter was. Dirt, broken cobblestones, large mud puddles and deep ruts. Most places room for only one car. Took 20 minutes to go 2 miles. Wi-Fi is always going out so if someone wants to work, good luck. We were told someone would meet us at the gate. When we finally got to the gate it was deserted. Could not get a call to go through. Finally a car approached and led us to the resort which was a ways down. We, of course, had no idea it was there. Very poor...

"We arrived and I was completely taken aback. The views are everything I had hoped they would be. I like to call this the inside-out house. All your best living is outside. The bedrooms were very spacious, the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were large and scenic! We had daily house care from Luz. She was amazing, we even had her cook for us one night. "We had an absolutely wonderful, peaceful stay at Casa Karina. It was the perfect size for me, my partner and our two young adult/teen sons. We loved hanging out on the patio, taking turns in the hammock and watching the ocean and pelicans flying overhead. Going to sleep in comfortable beds while listening to the waves. Kitchen supplies were ample. The property manager, Jenny, was very responsive to all of our concerns and communications. Aticama is a charming village with many great restaurants...

"Our stay at this house was great. It had everything that we needed to make our meals and be very comfortable. The place was very secluded, and the beach was just a short walk away. It was nice to have the pool to ourselves. The only thing that was bad, was the road. It had just recently rained, and the road was very muddy. The listing is very accurate except for the fact that the washer and dryer listed is not actually for guest use. If you need laundry washed, the maid will wash it for you. But...
