What a great jewel - proximity to beaches, parks, and restaurants was wonderful! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood was a plus. Robin is a thoughtful caring host and shared her wonderful oranges lemons and grapefruit. The unit is welcoming and comfortable.

Wonderful spot to relax and enjoy

My sister and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at West Cliff Hideaway. The place was really nice and so quiet. The owner had everything ready for us. We were within walking distance to the beach and all the wonderful places to eat. We would definitely stay at West Cliff Hideaway again!!

Fantastic Host, Property and Location

Our business reserved this property for 3 months for a visiting scientist and they raved about Robin and her property. She was communicative, attentive, and a terrific host that went above and beyond. We will definitely reserve this spot again for long-term stays or business visits. Thanks Robin!

Perfect location!

Robin is the Best! She was genuinely concerned with my comfort and needs the property is beautiful located in a very private neighborhood of Santa Cruz easy access to everything Santa Cruz has to offer, and a wonderful, quiet, comfortable, nurturing place to come home to after a long day of adventure, and exploring I really look forward to coming back. Thanks Robin for making my stay so lovely.

Perfect hideaway

This was likely our last visit to Santa Cruz, at least for now, to attend the UCSC graduation. The location was super, with a nearby shortcut to the beautiful West Cliff views, but close enough to campus to help our son pack up 4 years of stuff! Our host was amazing and even offered to fill the fridge when she learned our flight in was delayed.The home was clean and had everything we could need, including a lovely private courtyard that was the envy of my work Zoom meeting. If/when we return, this will be our spot!

Comfy & perfect for visiting UCSC

This experience reminded me of how good a well-run vacation rental can be. It was so nice dealing with an actual person who takes excellent care of their place with lots of thoughtful touches to make my stay super comfortable and relaxing. The place is luxurious for a single/couple, and the futon in the living room was very solid and comfortable. Robin's place is like staying in a real house, with a patio and grill, located in one of the nicer areas in Santa Cruz. Walking distance (15-20 minutes) from lots of stuff and a quick drive from UCSC. Plenty of peace and quiet even with the windows open constantly.

Wonderful Santa Cruz Getaway

We spent a month at West Cliff Hideaway. The location is fantastic - 2 blocks from the ocean in a lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk to the Pier and Boardwalk from our front door every day. Seeing the waves and surfers never grew old. The host, Robin lives in the main house and was always available for anything we needed. We rarely saw her so we always felt like we had privacy. The apartment is above a large garage behind the house and is accessed by a private entrance and a flight of stairs. Very comfortable and a fully stocked kitchen made for a perfect stay. Thank you Robin for sharing your home in such a beautiful location!

Beyond 5-star Stay & Host

We loved our stay at Robin’s cottage and she was an outstanding and wonderful host. Her place is lovely, quiet, clean, had everything we needed and is perfectly located for daily walks along the ocean and to amazing restaurants and cafes. We didn’t want to leave! And Robin is an exceptional host. (Like she should teach a course on it.) She is warm, welcoming, accommodating and literally made us feel like her special guests (not just vrbo people staying on her property). She checked in to be sure we had what we needed, sent us weather updates, and gave us a heads up on a stunning full moon over the ocean and recommendations for where to view it with great food and drink. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you Robin! 🌴

Beach hideaway!

Robin was a lovely host and the property was a the perfect beach hide-away for a few days of rest. I walked two blocks to the most beautiful walk along West Cliff. Perfect stay!

Great Location and Host

This property was very comfortable and exactly as advertised. Robin was very helpful and accommodating. The location is superb. You can hear the crashing of the waves and the barking of the seals from the ocean a few blocked away. We walked and biked everywhere and found the Westside wineries and coffee shops great.

Just as described

This was an adorable, comfortable apartment, centrally located to beaches, downtown and wineries, just as described on the site. Robyn was very easy to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

We Will Be Back..

The property was exactly what we wanted/needed/expected. Since our plan was to be out and about during the length of our stay, coming back to a place that was clean, bright with sunshine with a wonderful breeze was amazing! I would suggest this location for all couples looking for a perfect space to call home while visiting Santa Cruz. We loved walking the neighborhood in the morning—both the beach and local coffee shop are a short walk away (coffee-7minutes; beach-under 5 minutes) The property manager, Robin, was everything we could hope for: responsive before our stay, easy to contact with any questions, made the check in process clear & easy, and was never seen but we felt comfortable knowing she was only a phone call away. We really did feel as if we had our own hideaway in Santa Cruz.

Comfortable stay

VERY clean. Clear contract. Easy check in and out. Nice walk to water view. Convenient to all spots you would like to be during stay. Attentive owner and we felt very comfortable and welcome!

Lovely home in perfect location

Loved to stay at Robin’s property. The flat is spotlessly clean in a quiet neighbourhood. It’s equipped with all you need for your vacation. Robin is a very kind and helpful host. I would recommend to stay at this little gem of a place to any of my friends and would rent it again myself any time. Thank you, Robin, for having us!

Great Place!

We spent a few nights in this rental. I chose this for the amenities and proximity to West Cliff Dr and the property delivered everything as advertised. I also appreciate a quiet place to rest and that is what we had. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again next time we're in the area. Thank you Robin!

West Cliff Hideaway

We loved our visit! It’s the perfect location, extremely quiet, very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. We biked and walked everywhere. Robin was friendly and welcoming and always responded quickly to every request and question. We’ll be back !

Place of refuge during remodel

West Cliff Hideaway was a wonderful place to relax away from our remodel! Close to the wonderful walking path on West Cliff; and no need to lift a finger - towels and bedding laundered for you is such a nice touch. Well equipped and quiet.

Warm and inviting rental in a fantastic location!

A definite winnner and a rental to which we’re looking forward to returning. Cozy without being cramped, and in a perfect location on the West Side, easy walk to Natural Bridges.
