"The resort was nice and located directly on the beach so the sunsets were magnificent. We had only one negative experience and it was on our sailing the sunsets excursion. I would not recommend doing it, they literally took us to the worst part of the island where we were looking at dump sites and shipping port, we were supposed to have 2 stops and sail by some pretty places such as flamingo Island and such so we were simply taken advantage of and it costs us $300 for 2 people. When I mentioned that to the hotel concierge nothing was done for us to make up for it and no money was reimbursed. So disappointed in that. Other then that staff was very friendly but there was definitely lack of entertainment at the property."

"The pool and the interaction with the staff at the bar and the pool was fantastic. Did not like the issue with trying to get a chair on the beach. Staff said stand where you want the chairs and he would bring them, he never did. If they don’t want to help them don’t lock them up."
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort

"This our third year staying here and we absolutely love it. We actually just arrived back from celebrating our anniversary. We stayed from 9/22-9:26. The servers at the bar are always amazing- Leiddy assisted twice at the pool bar and she’s an absolute angel. We got a cabana for two of the days of our stay. The second day was a little disappointing as we stood on the iguana side. The cabana didn’t seem to be set up with everything in time as we were there a little after 9am as that’s the time we are able to get access into the cabana. The service was slower than usual, we were missing some of the condiments that should have came with the food, cabana was missing rafts. Understandable things happen also. Overall we will continue to stay with renaissance it’s our favorite."
