"The room was clean and the AC worked great. I also enjoyed having good hot water. I was very happy that the room had a king bed instead of two double beds we received when we stayed here earlier in the week. The free shuttle wasn't available, so we had to take a taxi from the airport, but the front desk reimbursed us. I have to say that the front desk staff was not cordial, almost to the point of being unfriendly. This is sad. When we checked in I told the staff that the following night we needed to leave the hotel at 9 pm for the airport. The next day I also confirmed this. However, at 9 pm the shuttle was gone, to wait for an arrival. After 15 minutes, I asked again, and they finally ordered the shuttle to return and take us to the airport. This really cut down our available time at the airport. If Sun Hotel is going to be hostile to foreign visitors, then they shouldn't be in business where they are uniquely positioned 5 minutes from an international airport. Shame on you! And it wasn't a case of a difficult foreigner ... I speak fluent Spanish and was very polite in all our dealings."
