"Location was amazing with our own private beach and pool yet a short drive from the more popular areas including Maya Beach and Placencia Village (about 25 minutes drive with sleeping policemen factored in). The kitchen seemed well-equipped although we mostly ate out (or enjoyed snacks and leftovers). Really loved our time in Belize. Dinners at Maya Beach Bistro were amazing as was our special Valentines dinner at Sterling’s. We loved afternoons at Barefoot Beach Bar and I would be remiss without mentioning The Flying Pig that we thankfully discovered in time to enjoy the Super Bowl. We feel like the stars aligned when we happened to find this place available for a perfect week (for us) in February. "Our two bedroom, two bathroom top floor corner unit with spacious and ideal for two couples. The view was fantastic! We enjoyed the delicious birthday dinner at the restaurant our first night there, and Rosa produced a beautiful Slice of birthday cake as a special treat. Having a hotel on both beachfront and inland waterway is a bonus, both sides provide extraordinary views. We also enjoyed a relaxing couples’ massage. We found the staff friendly and accommodating, the drinks delicious, and we enjoyed time on the lounges on the beautiful beach. Rum punch was favorite beverage to cool off in the afternoons. We enjoyed the location of Umaya, taking walks along the waterfront, as well as driving into Placencia. We highly recommend this lovely hotel."

"We had an absolutely incredible stay at this villa! The home matched the photos perfectly and was spotless upon arrival. The views were breathtaking we loved the outdoor amenities.On our very first day, we saw a stingray and jellyfish right off the dock — such a cool and memorable way to start our trip! It truly felt like a special place from the beginning.Big Mac was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. He definitely goes above and beyond. By the end of the week, he felt like part of our family, and we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. He played a huge role in making our trip such a success.The chef and housekeeping staff were also wonderful. Arriving to a freshly prepared dinner on our first night after a long day of travel was such a nice treat. Carlos the boat captain was so friendly and knowledgeable during our snorkeling adventure. The tours were so much fun, and we made unforgettable memories here.We would absolutely return!We do have a few suggestions to make this place even better:-install hand rails in the showers and along the stairs for safety-have the guests control the hot tub settings-offer more of a variety of children's life vests-stock the upstairs refrigerators with water as well-add a bin to the pool area with towels to grab as needed-ensure all tvs were working, I never turned mine on but a couple of people in our group noticed the ones in their rooms had issues "

"Beautiful palatial home with lots of privacy. Arthur is a wonderful host; response time was very quick to any questions we had. The added touch of local exotic fruits on our arrival was a comforting start to our vacation! Had everything we needed, to relax and come back to after exploring, even a little bar like area off the entrance with great mood lighting. Loved our time there. A memorable vacation!"

"We had an amazing stay in Placencia! The place was the perfect size for two couples and had a beautiful view we never got tired of. The hosts, Angela & Phil were fantastic — welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond! We packed in adventures every day, including the ATM Cave tour, Monkey River, snorkeling, island hopping, cave kayaking and of course exploring the entirety of the peninsula — truly unforgettable experiences. It may be unpopular opinion but one of our favorite decisions was choosing the golf cart instead of a car (despite everyone telling us to rent one!). It allowed us to slow down, take in the scenery, and really immerse ourselves in the local culture in a way we wouldn’t have otherwise. (And of course we had a lot of laughs along the way with all those speed HUMPS )This stay was the perfect balance of adventure and laid-back island life. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Placencia! "
