"Property was beautiful! The problem was the hike up and down the mountainside to get to it. There is no warning as to the steep climb up and down you’re going to have to make. We did enjoy the views and outdoor shower and toilet. Definitely a trip to remember."

"This property is everything. It has access to the Lake, hiking trails and an amazing local guide who can assist you with every aspect of your trip from transportation to ideas on things to do.The living space is very comfortable and rustic. Please take note that you are in the middle of the jungle with this studio and therefore there is a plethora of bugs that will also accompany you on your stay.The view is breath taking it positioned directly across from San Pedro, I believe but don’t quote me...

"Juan and his son did an amazing job building this house. You will definitely experience the birds that live in the trees around the property and gorgeous views of the lake. With downtown a mere 10-15 minute walk away, Tzikin Jaay is a perfect spot to stay with a family. We loved it and will be back for sure!!! Thank you Juan"

"The cabin has terrible access roads had an SUV and had a hard time getting there, once there one of the bedrooms has no heating, no fridge and the only way to heat the leaving room is by using firewood that has to be brought from outside and really hard to light up, top bedroom its only accisable by a ladder a construction ladder, showers can only be used hot or cold imposible to get warm water to shower and top bedroom shower does not work only water spicket, no internet working try both...

"This is an outstanding property, One of the best that I have stayed in the world. The front desk staff, housekeeping staff, the sous chef, the wait staff, the turndown service staff, the staff that takes you to the hen farm, the views from their 2nd restaurant, beautifully decorated Kinnik - all possible because of their outstanding staff. The complimentary meditation kit, the french press, the kayak- all adds to the pleasantness of the stay. The beautifully decorated room A must visit if you are in Lake Atitlan. I will go back again!.
