"We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo! This family-run, charming hotel has the most beautiful view imaginable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, amazing pools, and nearby Sorgeto Beach. Pietro and Umberto were incredibly helpful with planning our day, restaurant and beach recommendations, and lifts to town. We cannot wait to return one day to the island of Ischia and especially to this beautiful sport."
"Villa Tara is an exceptional accommodation; a historic building with character and unique charm. Very beautiful surroundings in the middle of nature. Very quiet location, yet well developed. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. The perfect place to relax and get to know Succhivo, Sant Angelo, Panza and Forio. "Wonderful hotel and spa, would recommend, not too far from the harbour town easily walkable with a free shuttle bus if you want it.
On site restaurant is average, better food in the town with lots to choose from. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel, the view is amazing and the owner and his son, Sanny go above and beyond with the customer service! The breakfast is amazing, with fresh tomatoes from Giuseppe's garden, hot cornetti, and he makes the best cappuccinos! The view at breakfast is awesome as well.
Its a very close walk to Sant'Angelo, and Sanny had the best recommendations for dinner. You will not be disappointed with this hotel, this will be where i always stay when I visit Ischia."
"Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port."

"Loved this property. Right on the beach, family-owned business and they are so nice and welcoming. If you are ok with little to no AC (the room never gets that hot and they provide fans), and a bit of a schlep getting down the stairs to access the property, this is a 10/10."

"Not enough good things to say about the convenience of this location, the warmth of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of this hotel! Sanny was an absolute angel - as a young 20 year old female traveling alone, I felt so safe and taken care of, going as far as to book a table in Sant Angelo for dinner when I had no reservations and calling me a taxi (that took card) within 5 minutes after I missed my bus… He is the BEST! The indoor and outdoor pools are also such a perk, and Sant Angelo is a quick 10 minute walk away. My room was also spotless - so clean, and perfect for my stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

"Fantastic stay at this amazing hotel. Food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff could not have been friendlier. Pool area and room views were great. Guido’s knowledge of the island was very helpful in planning our 10 days in Ischia. They booked our boat tour for us. If we came again we would definitely pay for the dinner half board package because we regretted not choosing it. "

Breakfast was very good, and the thermal pools were gorgeous.
Dining a la carte was a challenge for one of us but only because food containing octopus was not for that palette.
Lunch is located separately from the evening dining rooms with a delightful view out to sea and good choices on the menu.
The set evening menu tended to be better i.e. less adventurous. Of course this is all a matter of personal taste.
Getting round the island is really easy by bus and it is not expensive to do so. The hotel provides an excellent shuttle service to Panza, which is a good walk up hill from the hotel to catch the buses. The shuttle will also pick up from Panza if you are not able or willing to walk back from there.
