"The staff was kind and helpful. The room was not what we expected for $280. Although we weren’t awakened by noise, the door to our room was off of the breakfast room. Beds were comfortable and access was simple with a code and room key. Very simple accommodations, but the terrace would be lovely on a nice day. Excellent neighborhood with tons of eateries and street life all around. Free coffee and wine too! "

"Only complaint is that it was quite loud. When a neighbor left a room one morning at 6am it woke me up it was so loud. Noise travels very easily in the building, but other than that the staff were great and helped me with storing luggage and such in between switching and traveling. Right by an amazing brunch place that’s viral “EatMyTrip,” and very close to the train which quickly takes you to all the places you’ll want to go."

"Very cute accommodations with a modern slab sink and rain shower. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful city streets. The receptionist was responsive to emails and helpful with luggage storage on our last day. The central location can’t be beat. You’re within walking distance of multiple Gaudí museums, and on the route of most subways and buses. "

"Overall we were very happy with the room. The staff was lovely and the breakfast was excellent as far as hotel breakfasts go. My only complaint is that our room was on the second floor and faced the street, so there was a little noise from people enjoying the Barcelona night life. It was OK with ear plugs, but definitely something to consider if you are a light sleeper."

"Area is safe and walkable. 15 min walk from the direct train from airport. Close to big supermarket. 25-30 min walk from Gracia St. Walls are thin. I could hear my loud neighbor. The gentleman at the reception the first night was very nice. Marta and another older lady was also very nice and helpful. The second night, I had to ask at 2am to turn the AC on. The man at the reception flipped out at me. He was yelling at me in Spanish. I did not appreciate that. They should have help the AC on...

"This place was horrible. Our mattress was broken. There was a huge divot in it and we could feel the slats through the “mattress.” We were forced to sleep, if that word actually applies, on less than half (of a full-sized bed) so as to avoid falling into the divot. The room was also much smaller than appeared in the photos. There is no desk and therefore no one works there except maybe 4 hours a day. So there is NO help if it’s needed - you have to rearrange your schedule to even pay (to sleep...

"Pasamos una noche y realmente se nos hizo corto, hostal situado en plena naturaleza, donde se nos trató muy bien, habitación amplia y limpia con el encanto del toque rural que tiene todo el hostal. La piscina de agua salada donde los niños disfrutaron mucho. Desayuno sencillo pero muy muy rico, a veces menos es más... Sin duda repetiremos en otra ocasión."
