"We were five mature women looking for the full tuscan experience and we found it. The villa is as beautiful as described. Spacious rooms, big kitchen and the pool area was lovely. The outdoor breakfast area was especially popular for morning coffees. If you go, though, you must have a car as public transportation is not easily accessible. The kitchen is well equipped but was missing some basic food supplies, such as salt and pepper, spices or paper towels. I would also have expected there to be sufficient toilet paper and hand soap for the bathrooms but we had to buy that as well. Not a huge deal, more of an inconvenience really. Overall though, one of the nicest places we've stayed at. Would definitely recommend."

The wine tour was both informative and enjoyable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the estate’s rich winemaking heritage. The spa experience was another standout—peaceful, professional, and just what we needed to unwind. Every aspect of our stay felt carefully curated and indulgent. We’re already planning to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Il Borro is a true gem in the heart of Tuscany, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious escape.
