"We had an overnight stay at Friars Carse and it was lovely. The staff are very welcoming, engaging and good fun. The building itself felt very homely. The food was utterly divine, I would go back for the food alone! There is a well stocked bar, with various places to sit and relax. If you are looking for somewhere to stay without the bells and whistles and really good food, this is the place for you."

"We arrived late and Night Porter was very accommodating Food was first class Rooms were spacious- a couple of niggles with the water temperature and the rooms weren’t soundproofed so we could hear people walking up and down in the corridor Apart from that - I’d recommend and would stay again"

"Check in was easy staff extremely polite and helpful. Bed very comfortable everything was clean. Shower was good and to top it all we had a toilet for the disabled which was fantastic as we both have mobility issues. Will definitely be back."

"I stayed for one night before a wedding nearby. I had a warm welcome and the room was lovely! Spotless and modern with a view over the street. Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way. "
