"This hotel is extremely special. We stayed in the private spa suite and had our own sauna. The room was stunning, with an amazing view. It was actually better than I expected. Breakfast and dinner was included with the price and both were tasty. Pick a meat option as the vegetable option could have been better. It was my partners birthday and the hotel made it special. The spa facilities are pretty amazing too with everything overlooking the mountains. If I had one suggestion it would be that the sign in the quiet area of the spa was adhered to. The facility has an area where it states that under 14’s shouldn’t enter, families didn’t adhere to this and so there were children around. Only something small for a wonderful stay. "

"Every evening I ate in the hotel. I wanted to eat in the Wine Stuber but each time they pushed to the breakfast room I wanted to enjoy the ambience of the wine bar not sit alone in the breakfast area. I pushed back and they begrudgingly let me eat in the wine bar. Rest of the hotel stay was excellent."

"The breakfast was top rate, very nicely decorated area, the food was all fresh and tasty. Well done hospitality. THe room was a bit cold, but i realize it was first week of cool weather, and maybe furnace wasn't at full steam yet. But the staff was friendly, the town is very picturesque, i would surely go back to this place."

"This property was nice and clean to stay at, obviously about 50 years out of date and in the middle of nowhere but it was priced fairly well. There is literally nothing around this hotel but it is a great stopping place, nice and quiet. As for the 4-star rating that is not true. First time i got into one of the beds the wooden slats underneath broke and i had to fix it and you can hear everything going on in the rooms beside you because the walls are paper thin. Also at 7:30am someone tried to come into our room. Possibly cleaners i dont know i yelled at them and they quickly closed the door"

"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding dimensions AFTER you book your nonrefundable stay to bring correct size of bedding with you, OR they'll provide this for you, but it'll cost you additional 10 eur per person in bedding/towel washing fee. (No idea what there's to clean worth of 70 eur, if the bed linen and towels are a separate fee!) So, the cheap stay in the middle of nowhere that we were expecting, turned out to be more than double the cost with the cleaning fees and you're better off booking someplace where they are upfront with the fees! BE AWARE of the added costs!!!"
