I felt that the Normandie restaurant was a wonderful part of the West Wind experience that would’ve been incomplete without it. Additionally, the extremely short distance to the pool and beach makes the hotel a stress-free and lax environment. Staff is friendly and accommodating to the needs of the guests.

Nice location and amenities

Quck overnight at the beach. The Noseeums are terrible so be prepared if you want to walk the beach during early morning and evening times.

We started off a bit on the rough side but the manager Dawn came to the rescue and immediately corrected the issue. We had a great stay, beach was breathtaking, pool was also a welcome change. The rooms are clean, not huge but certainly adequate since not much time was spent inside. Lanai was refreshing in the evening. The outside bar offered live music most nights which I truly appreciated. Surrounding area offered fine dining. Don’t forget to rent a boat and go fishing, another great way to spend the day. Definitely family friendly as is the island. Would go back again. Beware the no-see-ums, bring bug repellent although they feasted on me my husband didn’t get one bite!

We had a great stay! The property is beautiful and we loved the fact that it was a relatively quiet resort (no partiers). The amenities were great (bike rentals, kayaks, paddle boards) and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a cute, beachy vibe, with a great view! We would definitely stay here again!

West Wind was perfect for my trip. Steps away from the beach, heated pool with a restaurant/bar! Free bike rentals, kayaks, and paddle boards. Another restaurant on the property that was open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Will definitely stay here again.

This resort was fabulous!! The dining was exceptional! Live music was great! swimming pool and included activities were fun!! Staff super friendly and accommodating! Perfect view of the sunrise and sunsets! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Love this area. Repeat visitor. Disappointed this visit. Resort fee charged even though weather did not allow use of pool, or enjoyment of beach. Felt pressed to leave an hour earlier than check out time so new beds could be placed in room. Could have been scheduled after check out. Staff pleasant and helpful.

The room was not the same as pictured. The Check-in process was not smooth, billed me again upon check-in. Great location and clean. Older building and can hear everything. Poor cell and internet signal. Great pool, bar and food on property.

This was a spontaneous trip and it did exactly what we needed. The staff here is some of the best we have ever come across. Especially big shout out to Mary in the Normandie restaurant!!! She's simply just a gem! Was so relaxing. We will be back

Overall a great experience! The air conditioner was really loud (sounded like a jet engine) , the room was outdated but tidy. The outside amenities were awesome and so close to the beach ! The restaurant/bar was great, the food was good and so Convenient. We had a great time !

Nice hotel in a quiet location

With my family for 2 nights. Good room that had a good balcony view of the pool and ocean. Liked the poolside restaurant/bar,(good food!) and the free paddle board rental.

Nous avions réservé cette hôtel sur hôtel.com nous avons reçu notre confirmation avec le prix et tout jusque là tout va bien. Rendu à l’hôtel quand nous étions installer dans notre chambre soit une heure plus tard on nous a appeler pour nous dire que c’était 35.00 us soit $ 50.00 Cda car cette chambre avait une salle de bain rénover ou bien fallait changer de chambre. Belle arnaque . Très déçu de cette hôtel
