"The Inn at Primrose Hill cancelled my birthday present trip hours before we were to arrive. So unprofessional and so "Terrible" is the review since we never had the "joy" of a happy birthday celebration. Full disclosure, they did rebook us at a motel in the area, but that wasn't much of a birthday "gift". "

"Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. Just a small thing, I don't think the heat in my room was on and it felt about 10 degrees colder in there than in the hallway outside. This is likely not an issue for...

"The hotel is lovely! Our room 203 was well appointed and spacious (living area, kitchen, dining table, separate bedroom and bath). The gas fireplace in the living room was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. One can easily walk to restaurants, shops and the Harbor. The only downside to the experience was some loud noises because of trash pick up/snowplowing. It was November and there was a small snow storm, the room backs up to a food coop. They plowed at 11 pm, 3:30am and then trash pick...

"The cabin was fantastic. It was the perfect place to stay for me and my dog. The hosts were wonderful and helped me whenever I needed questions answered. It was very tastefully decorated. They had everything I needed in both the bathroom and kitchen. The grounds and gardens were absolutely beautiful. Weaver's across the street was very convenient. I would highly recommend! "The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment .
