Possum Kingdom Lake WATERFRONT Retreat

"My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs and had a fantastic time. The nature around the property is beautiful, we even saw a coyote come down to the lake for a drink at the little bay across from the property’s beach during our ride on the paddle boat they provided. We also saw some incredible birds. The house is conveniently located near Possum Kingdom State Park where we rented kayaks at the Marina. We also spent a few days on a pontoon boat we rented and explored the lake which has stunning rock formations and areas where we saw local cows come down for a dip in the lake.Property was clean when we arrived, directions given to us by owners were clear, making our ckeck in and out very easy.Property is nicely stocked with water toys like noodles, paddle boat, and small kayaks, and various other flotation toys which made the trip fun.Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again."

"3 day weekend before kids headed of to college and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Home was updated, had the perfect space to hang out indoors and outdoors plus close proximity to the lake.Bonus was the boat rental place located about a 3 minute walk from home."

"My family has enjoyed staying at The Retreat for several quick vacations. Every house has been clean, comfortable, roomy and fully stocked with everything we needed. The “crowning glory” of the Retreat Houses is there is access to a large beautiful pool AND a beautiful lake right across the street! A great place to make family adventures along with your dogs!We will continue to frequent The Retreat!"

"Fell in love with the view from the deck immediately, and loved that you didn't have to give it up when you went inside! This cozy cabin was well appointed and comfortable. We chose this home because it had a boathouse that made it easy to bring our boat and enjoy the lake all day. We checked PK lake off the bucket list! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!"
