"We had a pet friendly room overlooking the harbour. It was a good size and ample for our two dogs. Some of the furniture is now a little tired, but the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and gave our dogs lots of fuss and attention. The restaurant team in the evenings was exceptional. They couldn’t do enough for us. Accommodated us at short notice and even repositioned us so we could watch the sun set. The food was fantastic. The team at breakfast were far less welcoming and a little more care was needed when cooking. We had overcooked bacon and eggs."

"We stayed in a family room on the first floor which was spacious and clean with a sea view. The furnishing in general was adequate but quite dated. This was reflected throughout the hotel. The bath was rusty which meant we relied on the shower which was good. The balcony door wasn’t secure with a flimsy catch. The radiator although not used was very rusty in need of maintenance. The decoration in the public areas was better in general it felt like the hotel needed a refurb"

"Loved our room (the suite) and it was perfectly quiet! Perfect location to get to the beach. Great breakfast and really friendly staff. Definitely will stay again!"

"A beautiful flat with several balconies giving great sea views and views of the boats etc. The rooms were comfortable and clean. As we were on public transport we would have appreciated the offer of paying a bit extra for towels as they tend to take up a lot of room in luggage. Mark was excellent at keeping in touch with us. answering any queries. Supplies of cutlery, crockery and utensils were excellent. Sea views were wonderful. Plenty of chairs for sitting out. Luxurious showers. The only area that needed a bit more care was the area around the kitchen sink.But we were all retired nurses!"

"Overall our stay was excellent right in the middle of a heatwave. Only niggle was slow water trickle and no hot water to hand basin in bathroom but put up with it as we were only there for 3 nights.Be aware double bed mattress is very soft!"
