"Rooms very super clean. We stayed in rm. 411 and the outdoor onsen was indescribably amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer shuttle within the onsen area which is super helpful. The onsen experience was amazing. Tho’ a bit pricey, I will definitely stay here again as a treat. The Kaseiki dinner was also amazing. It was a lot of food. Almost like tapas as there are many small portions (11 courses in total). After dinner, another onsen. Out of this world experience!"

"We loved the way the room was decorated and appreciated every piece of art work throughout the place. All the stuff was exceptionally kind and the meal was so beautifully presented. We also appreciated the owner’s efforts to reduce the use of plastic. Standing for 800 years, and this place made me feel deeply nostalgic as I imagined the Fudal lord Nobunaga bathing here. Thank you so much and we would love to visit Tocen - San again."

"The hotel well maintained and clean, both kaiseki dinner and breakfast was excellent. Onsen have 1st floor indoor ginsen & kinsen for hotel guests, 2nd indoor/3rd open air bath open for public. Staff very attentive and helpful especially for shuttle bus and helping me to get to the bus station and catching the correct bus. When check in, they really patient to explain each floor amenities and dinner/breakfast location, also there's welcome drink lounge self serve. I'll definitely stay again on my next visit."

"Excellent location with excellent staff service. It is literally located beside the Hon Sasayama bus stop and the Kawaramachi district. Impressed with the staff who noticed that I was fully drenched from the rain and immediately handed me a towel during check in! They also offer a bar with free flowing beer, sake, soft drink and post onsen ice cream. However, do note that you need to take a 20 min bus ride from JR Sasayama Station if you are not driving. Highly recommended!"
