Beware of Basque Stay! Terrible host communication. First, sent a code for the wrong set of keys and a different address from the listing. After my family of 4 lugged our 3 large suitcases and carry-ons through the streets, we found that they gave us the wrong keys. No answer to provided phone number. Took an hour for host to respond and they refused to meet us to give us the right keys. We had to take all of our luggage back to the car to pick up the correct keys. We finally enter the flat and it had a terrible smell. Trundle bed falling apart. Light fixture half hanging off ceiling. Told host these things, no response. Only one half AC unit at the entrance for the whole unit— takes a while to cool down. Only 1 tiny shower gel provided, nothing else. We made it work for a 4 night stay but I’d never return or recommend to friends.
