Lovely boutique hotel in a gorgeous, unique setting on the Pacific Ocean. Quiet, picturesque and intimate. Food and service was very good. The physical structures and fixtures are now beyond their best before date. A minor update of the buildings, etc. would instantly make it a five star experience.

Wonderful quiet place on the beach

Manta Ray is a wonderful hotel off the beaten track. The hotel has wonderful rooms with Seaview, the restaurant is excellent with an international cuisine. The owner and chef happily tries to accommodate specific wishes. The beach is right there, nice sand, water is warm. Also good swimming pool. The waives are relatively high and break close to the beach. No phone cover but excellent wifi. A number of other restaurants are nearby. The only thing I found negative was that this hotel does not allow paying directly via Hotels.com and does not accept credit cards. Payment either as cash or via PayPal with an extra surcharge. A deposit is needed to secure the booking. Given that there are many scammers out there, we found it stressful to pay in advance via PayPal to somenbody we do not know. I

I had a great time staying here in September. The ocean view from my room was amazing and the sound of the waves was wonderful. The food was deliciously prepared by a local lady who was super friendly. Alan, the manager was awesome and helped me with my car that was stuck on the muddy road due to the rain. Amazing experience all around!

Ubicacion excelente

Muy exclusivo, espacioso, limpio todos los servicios calidad y servicio A 15 min del aeropuerto y 30 min de huatulco en el indispensable carro. Playa increible, casi solitaria, mar turqueza, muy escenica, fuerte en corrientes.

The beach is beautiful and the room was large and comfy. Great balcony too. The food is very good but basically the restaurant is your only option since the hotel is isolated and the road is a challenge. And the food is not cheap compared with your average Mexican restaurant. Personally, i would have liked to have a fridge for snacks and drinks. But a really beautiful and peaceful setting.

Great beach hotel

Very relaxed hotel on a beautiful, isolated beach, great for disconnecting. The waves at the beach were too rough to swim during our stay, but still beautiful to watch and relax. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, they organized taxis and tours to nearby towns and beaches. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

Amazing place. Swiss owned and run as you’d expect. Location is stunning. Food is excellent and dining on the patio is delightful.My girlfriend had a special request at dinner - handled with a deft touch. We’ll be back!
