"Property was really good and the host was really friendly and accomodating even though we don't speak the language. They prepared breakfast for us every morning and cleaned the rooms every day too. Small property so you can talk to other guests as well. Waking up and eating breakfast with the view of desert and mountains in the backdrop was really special too. The place is 5 mins walk from main market street so you are perfectly tucked away from peak tourist traffic and still close enough to get out and do your stuff. The airport transfer services come up to the hostel and most of the tours can pick you up from this location. Ones which cannot will generally pick up from a location which can not be more than 10 moinutes walk. We visited in winter and from our experience, two things that I want to highlight. 1. you are very close to the driest place on the earth so pack lotion and 2 because you are in the middle of a desert and temperatures drop significantly at night its better to pack warm clothes to sleep in. Room was colder than a usual hotel room."

"San Pedro is an oasis in the desert and this hotel is an oasis within the oasis. For starters, the room was very clean and comfortable. The site is amazing in the middle of town and it is right next to the church. At night, you can step out of your room and look up and see the Milky Way. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, the afternoon tea is great, and evening wine tasting is great. I would give them more stars if a could."

"The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was great, the beds were comfy and there were heaters for the cold nights. The breakfast was very good and on the day we left it was too early so they packed up a breakfast for ua to take. The only two negative things is that they have a restaurant in the inner courtyard which has music playing until around 11pm, so if you are trying to sleep early this can get on the way. Also, the shower had was a bit broken and kept turning to the left side."

"The property's location is a little bit off the center, but it is still walkable. It is situated in very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. "

We love the minimalist aspect of the room including the pleasing absence of a television. The staff is very professional and very helpful. Each days activities required a box lunch and each day this was ready for us before we left no matter how early. 5-stars for this property. "

"I really loved my experience at Tierra Hotels, the service, the atmosphere, rooms, everything was amazing. The only thing in my opinion that could be better was the food, that was good sometimes and not so good a few other times. It was French style, so sometimes you would have to repeat a dish as the food was insufficient. The bed was a bit hard for my tasting but luckily the hotel had a pillow top which helped tremendously. The service was beyond amazing and very professional, everyone that worked at the hotel was very nice and helped the guests with any questions or needs they had, with a lot of goodwill and a smile on their faces. The tour guides were very nice folks, professional and very knowledgeable about Atacama and its mysteries and beauties and they all spoke very good English. Tierra is an amazing hotel and that's why they charge premium. I just think they need to improve the food, it was not the best. "
