"We have used VRBO/homeaway a lot and this is our best vacation home yet! Two adults and two kids at age 6 and 8, stayed 3 weeks at the apartment, that is really a separate house from the rest of the Mommialla' apartments. The view from the terrace is amazing and we had most of our meals outside. It is close to nature, so be aware of ants and wasps. There is a 2 km gravel road before you reach Mommialla, and this means the area is quiet (and your car will be covered in dust from the dry dusty...

The location inside the remnants of a castle is remarkable, and the view from Monsummano Alto is spectacular. We also had a fantastic dinner at La Forresteria restaurant right on the mountain top."
