"Starting with the pros: appreciated how clean both the room and the bathroom were. It was a really hot week then, so it was awesome that the room was quiet, had AC and I had a pretty great sleep. There was a sizable walk-in closet as well. There were a few cons as well. First of all, there was only one elevator and it wasn't the fastest, so there was a time where I had to return the luggage cart from the 2nd floor and had to wait almost half an hour because the elevator was consistently full. Second, my bathroom door couldn't fully close because the bathtub was a bit"

"We had really great service with all the staff we interacted with—the luggage people, the registrar, the cleaning staff etc. The hotel is so well located, clean, and quiet. Good size rooms too! The only thing that would have made our stay a little better would be a microwave in the room, but that is very minor. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel!!"

"The hotel is getting a bit shabby, but when we discussed it with the front desk staff we were told that renovations were starting, floor by floor. We will likely stay again early next year, so hopefully the hotel will be fresher."

"This Hilton is a great location for where I go in SF. Some great view rooms at no premium. Clean and well maintained. Front desk staff was helpful and had a good parking policy for last day departure. The restaurant is ultra generic, unfortunately. I suppose they can't really compete with what is around them, but they used to have a unique asian breakfast buffet, but maybe that was a long time ago."

"Room was clean, staff friendly. Good location from a walking and driving perspective (parking close by) - lots of retail around Union Square, restaurants and bars within 10-12 min walk. Solid option for a reasonable price given the locale and average nightly rates in the area at other chain hotels."

"Clean room. Helpful staff. Given that it’s a historical hotel, expected that the rooms are a little tighter. But good location, there’s convenient offsite parking nearby if you have a car or there’s good access to public transit options. Would recommend!"
