The terrace on the roof was absolutely wonderful. Surrounded by olive trees and birds. And there is a lovely beach very very close. You can hear the waves from the house and see it from the terrace. "We enjoyed our stay in Mattinata, it is a beautiful area. We enjoyed some coastal walks and visited Vieste and the Umbra Forest. The apartment is small but well equipped and was clean. We stayed out of season and the beachside restaurants were closed so we had to drive out to restaurants. In peak season you would have a lot of choice in walking distance. Angelo was a great host very friendly and gave us lots of local information "
