"The MIL was exactly as advertised. It accomodated my husband and me very well. It was furnished with every thing we needed to make our stay very comfortable. "

"Rooms have some character with some unique decorations. Staff on check-in very friendly and brought my suitcase up the stairs. They need to work on amenities. Had a single small bar of soap (size ok, as know there's lots of waste with short stays) but had to transport from sink to/from shower. The shampoo need work. Just left one packet for a two-night stay that had no maid service (I'm OK with no maid service, again as there's lots of waste). But just one pack of shampoo and in a package that can't be opened without using a sharp object. People coming here ride the train and expect might get dirty. So let's leave enough supplies for the whole trip - and change the shampoo packaging. Now I did call down and they did promptly bring additional supplies. I just think I shouldn't have had to ask. They also need more attention to the breakfast offerings. The first morning I had the last Pop Tar (and threw out 2 empty boxes). Nothing brought for the next day. And on the second day, OJ was down to a measly 6 oz left. Need more attention in keeping the breakfast supplies stocked."

"This cute, clean, well organized, well stocked cabin was our base stay for 2 days. It was a beautiful drive to the Great Sand Dunes. The cabin was exactly as advertised..no surprises. We would definitely stay again if in that area."

"Gaylene has a fabulous property. The location on Main Street and the creek is top notch. She also greets each guest upon arrival and invites them to the hot breakfast served the following morning. There is little reason to leave the back yard or patio as it is the jewel of the village. People walking by on the bridge envy those who have rented and have the yard to relax in and enjoy the trickling creek."

" located very close to FS134 for quick access to trails to Cabresto Lake, Greenie Peek and on to Red River. Just pulled the SXS off the trailer and went. Its a bit confusing at night to find the location but the property mngr is awesome and will guide you in no matter the late hour of your arrival. Its very quiet area and the creek running by the cabins is very soothing. "
