"A second visit to Podere Brizio after 7 years! The surroundings are stunning and was very well looked after even though I had a nasty cold. The rooms are staring to show some wear and tear, but can’t fault the service and beauty of the place!"

"We had a great time for two nights at this beautiful property with really friendly staff. The spacious apartment and the nature around the property as well as the proximity to Montalcino were perfect for a relaxing time. The little winery was excellent and the wine tasted really good. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!"

"It was an amazing stay! Mauro went out of his way to make us feel at home. We enjoyed the relaxing stay, the beautiful grounds, and the convenience of being in a centralized location for travel to small towns all within an hour. "Our stay was outstanding. We got to stay in an 8th century abbey! We had so much space and a full kitchen. Beautiful property. Our hosts were outstanding, very attentive, responsive, excellent breakfast prepared by the family, good wine made on-site, option for traditional dinner (we didn’t have it but it was nice to have the option), just wonderful overall! Laura and her daughters and husband do an amazing job. "

They are great at recommending what’s best and they even went out of their way to pick us up and drop us off after our stay which was not necessary at all! "O lugar é lindo. Acordar com vista para os vinhedos faz o seu dia ser melhor. Os quartos são novos, num bom tamanho e a limpeza estava excelente. O atendimento foi também bastante cuidadoso. Desde o check in, passando passando café da manhã e chegando ao check out. As refeições no restaurante do hotel também estavam deliciosas. Certamente voltaremos."

"Our stay at La Certosa di Pontignano was a truly memorable experience. The historic charm of the property combined with the serene Tuscan landscape creates a magical and peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to match. The rooms were comfortable, the grounds beautifully maintained, and the staff welcoming and attentive. While we did encounter a small issue during our stay, it was addressed promptly and resolved to our complete satisfaction, which we greatly appreciated. The overall experience far outweighed this minor hiccup. The historical significance of the location adds a special depth to the visit—walking through centuries-old cloisters and gardens while enjoying the beauty of Tuscany is something we won’t forget. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil retreat."
